So you guys all know that WETA STUDIOS is the big effects shop in New Zealand behind the Lord of the Rings films and King Kong right? Well....

I entered my King Kong bust a while back in the WETA STUDIOS/COLLECTIBLES Kong likeness competition...I received one of my favorite e-mails ever informing me that after much talk, my bust was chosen as the grand prize winner!

The Grand Prize is a V-rex vs. Kong statue sculpted by Weta Workshop's Eden Small, Shaun Bolton, and Don Brooker. Limited edition of only 4000 the thing is a site to behold standing roughly 23.5 inches tall, and painted up to be as real looking as possible.

Having you guys dig my work means more than any statue, but I'll take it! ;) You guys rock! :D
